Editor of Regional Business/Lifestyle Magazine
I served as volunteer editor of Paramus! Magazine for six issues, from mid-2009 until the end of 2010. (The Fall 2010 issue is shown at left.) Published quarterly by the Paramus Regional Chamber of Commerce, Paramus! Magazine is a color business and lifestyle magazine that reaches more than 15,000 households in three Bergen County, New Jersey towns, and is also distributed to the 400+ members of the chamber. For each issue, I selected stories from among those submitted by chamber members and other writers. I developed and wrote cover stories and also assigned work to freelancers, maintaining the balance between business and lifestyle-oriented features. Also serving as a managing editor, I handled the workflow between the Chamber of Commerce and the magazine’s publisher, North Jersey Media.

Business Editorial and Other Magazine Writing
I write monthly retailer profiles and other articles for the respected retail trade publication, GiftBeat. I write the monthly “Information Center” column for Main Street, a fun, regional New Jersey lifestyle magazine distributed in Bergen and Passaic County towns, including Ridgewood and Hawthorne, my hometown. I pitch ideas and write witty “fun facts” style features.
